Sturdy Plastic with Streamlined Design
Made of durable plastic, the ATV is big enough to stand up to rough play, yet small enough to store away easily when playtime is over. With only three major parts -- the ATV, headset, and remote control -- it's straightforward for such a sophisticated toy. Younger children might need help adjusting the headset for optimum viewing of the video feed. Also, parents will need to use a screwdriver to install and replace the 12 "AA" batteries (not included). The ATV looks rugged and tough, with its heavy black tread and thin antennae. A video camera mounted to the front transmits a video feed to a monitor in the headset while a sound sensor on the top of the ATV sends audio through an earbud. Children can drive the ATV around corners and under furniture, while simultaneously seeing and hearing what the vehicle does. Its big tires lets it climb easily over obstacles -- like dirty laundry. The video and audio worked flawlessly when we tested them, although we found the video a little hard to see. It took a little trial and error to figure out how to get the vehicle to go where we wished, but we think kids who have experience driving remote control cars will pick it up quickly. With a little practice, kids will be proficient with this entertaining toy. What's in the Box

| I bought this toy at toysrus because I always wanted an rc car with a camera I could see with. It is realy a lot of fun to drive around your house and explore under furniture and chase your pets. Its a little expensive but you have to take in consideration what you are getting, you are actually getting three toys in one. You have the rc tank itself which does a good job of getting over obsticals such as clothes, toys, and rugs on the floor. the tank also alows you to pivit and scan the room in one spot which is very usefull. The atv also comes with a spy camera which allows you to see what the toy is seeing though a head set. Also it has an electric ear. Overall a fun toy for kids and adults. |

One of my sons was absolutely delighted when he found this item on clearance at a local retailer. Since he bought it, he uses it every day. Suprisingly, too, it has not burned through batteries as quickly as I imagined it would.
The treads allow it to navigate more areas than a wheeled audio-receiver car he got at Christmas. He can drive over small piles of laundry and even Matchbox cars--something important since he can only see based on the angle at which the camera is set before it is set in motion. He's been driving it around the house and spying on his brother's Cub Scout meetings and his sister's Brownie meetings. He's had it outside and inside. It's the most pleased he's ever been with a toy.
The only improvement I'd like to see would be the ability to change the vertical camera angle remotely. Don't let that keep you from this one, though. It's pure fun. |

My 7 year old son bought this with his Christmas money. For a toy, it is money well spent. He is enjoying many hours of fun with this toy, steering it all over the house and sidewalk from remote areas of the house.
I tried the eyepiece on and the video quality is quite good but definitely like tunnel vision. The camera cannot be remotely controlled up and down. That must be done manually. There is a 360 degree button that spins the ATV around when I want to see where I am.
The volume in the earpiece can be adjusted remotely. There is one earbud and the manual instructs us not to substitute other earbuds or headphones or risk damaging the controller. The sound quality is great but it turns off when the vehicle is in motion, so I can only listen when the vehicle is stopped.
Battery life has been decent considering how much my son plays with it. I needed 12 AA batteries to get it running and the manual advises us not to use rechargeable batteries. I wish I knew why because this is the second spy toy we have that says that.
The only caution I have on this toy is to make sure it is out of the your bedroom when you need privacy. It can hear and see all! Overall, a terrific toy. |

| I gave one of these to each of my grandsons for their 9th birthdays and both said it was their favorite gift. That made me a pretty popular Grandma and I highly recommend this toy!! |

| This toy was really cool to use and all, but the "night vision" advertisment was fake. It's not really night vision (its too cheap to be anyway)just a light and tinted lenses. Very cool though. |

| This toy is really cool; especially when spying on people. There binoculars that have like a light beam that makes it easy to see in the dark. You can spy on you're brother with his girlfriend or the person in front you while you're in the car. All I had to do was but 2 AAA bateries in and I had no hassle with it. It's really fun! |

| If you want to get a good look at what's crawling around in your backyard at night, if you have a strong desire to play a prank on your older brother at midnight, or if you just want a way to get to the fridge without using that REALLY, REALLY noisy light switch, has Wild Planet got a toy for You!!!! The spy night scope is good for taking a closer look at things at night. It features magnificaton and a pop-up light. And for those covert missions, there is a green stealth light that dimms-down the total radius of the light beam(and it looks stealthy). I've had this for a while, and it only takes 2 AAA batteries. And for those of you who are REALLY into Spy Gear (like I am), check out the SPY MICRO KIT, the XP-4 SPY PEN, the XP-5 SPY WALLET, and the SPY BUG. |

| In disguise this toy is a flashlight. Though I think this toy is very cool. There is two different features of this toy. The night vision feature and the telescope feature. 2 AAA batteries are required but the bulb is included with this toy. |
